Casa De Campo

|
|
|
| The Links golf course, designed by Pete Dye and opened
in 1975 , has even more fabulous views along the Caribbean coast.
|
|
Originally going to be named "La Barranca" (the little
hill), by Dye himself, the course offers many small hills and several
lagoons. The difficult track also uses tall bahia, guinea grass
roughs and sand traps to make the game of golf a little more interesting.
Many professional golfers who have played in Casa De Campo state
that The Links is equally as challenging as its father course, "Teeth
of Dog".
The course is reminiscent of traditional British and Scottish courses,
which gives a unique feeling.

Conde Nast magazine awarded Casa de Campo the prestigious
2004 Gold Key Award and ranked it in the
Top 100 World's Best Places to Stay. It is no wonder recent American Presidents
including Jimmy Carter,
George Bush Sr and Bill Clinton have enjoyed its golf and accommodations.
Luxury at its finest!!
